Hello WP masters. Sorry if this topic has been done before but I can’t find a true duplicate. My site is ahealthyjourney.ca and if I type this in any mainstream search engines (google, Bing, Yahoo) it goes to it fine. However any other listing clicked from those search pages from the same domain (eg. ahealthyjourney.ca/smoothie-controversy) would go to a 404 page. That in itself is annoying but what’s even odd is that if I clicked on the address bar and hit return, the page would load properly. Same goes with all other posts/pages from ahealthyjourney.ca/……..
Another confusing issue, all links shared from Facebook, pinterest, Instagram, Twitter, the links all work fine.
I’ve tried deactivating all plugins. No luck.
I’ve tried the Permalink reset inside WP, No luck.
I’ve called my host provider (GoDaddy) and off course they say it’s Google’s fault.
This seems to be only when the URL’s are clicked from search engines. I’m guessing that my easiest step would be to start with a clean .htaccess file. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks very much.

-Try resetting your custom permalinks back to the default setting and renaming your WordPress .htaccess file.
    – If that works, then try reading Using_Permalinks before setting a custom permalink structure again.

Tara, I did exactly what you said and sure enough it seems to have worked. I was about to manually put a brand new clean .htaccess file but it seems that the system automatically generated this. Not sure why my original .htaccess got corrupted. I wish these random events don’t happen. Thanks very much for your help.
