    Hi there,

I have set a custom permalink structure in Permalinks settings for Single products.

My shop base is “produkte”, but when my product base is other than “Standard” I get a 404 on single product pages. I read about conflicts with other pages/categories etc. causing this, but my case is different. Even when I set a custom base to totally random value to avoid conflicts – let’s say “products7783959768” – I’ll get the 404.

    Any help?

  • Hi @chrimby1

    Thank you for reaching out!

Can you please go to WordPress Admin > Settings > Permalinks and click on Save Changes?. This ensures that rewrite rules for endpoints exist and are ready to be used. Let us know if this makes any difference.

Also, can you share a screenshot of the Permalink Settings page? If you don’t already have a screenshot service installed, we recommend using https://snipboard.io for sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL in your reply.

In order for us to get a better understanding of your site setup, could you please share a copy of your website’s System Status Report?

You can get it by navigating to the WooCommerce / Status section of your site. Once there, click on the Get system report button and then copy it by clicking on the Copy for support button. Then paste it here in a comment.

Already did this before. No change.

Just went through the report myself. The plugin Custom Post Type Permalinks caused the problem.
