404 on redirects because of page cache

    Hello I come with memcached problems from the previous version, as this post indicates:

    With the new update it has been fixed and works fine, except that the following happens to me:

    I have a redirect plugin, called: seo redirection. I saw that redirects don’t work since I updated to the latest version of w3tc, more specifically if the page cache is using memcached.

    If page cache is using memcached, redirects give 404. As follows.

    Using a tool to test redirects is shown as follows:

    Note on the arrow that the redirect plugin works perfectly because the url changes, but for some reason it gives 404.

    Now the problem is solved, if I change page cache from memcached to Disk: Enhanced.

    So surely something else related to object cache still fails.

    Apart from all this I have in my error_log.log the following line:

    [12-Sep-2019 12:16:00 UTC] PHP Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent in /home/admin/#######.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/w3- total-cache / Mobile_Referrer.php on line 35

    It has nothing to do with what I explained above, but I still report it here.

    The WP installation is clean, just like w3tc, I deleted everything completely and put it back on.

    Hello @microonline,

    I am sorry about the issue you are having with redirects but I am happy to assist you with this.
    Disk-enhanced doesn’t support caching redirects.
    Redirects work in that case like if there’s no W3 Total Cache plugin.
    Redirects caching (for other cache engines) work in our tests well, so there may be some incompatibility with other plugins/ theme.
    To assist you further, we need to perform a deeper inspection of the issue so I can only offer you our Professional support via Plugin Performance>Support to investigate compatibility issue.

    I do not think it is incompatible, since when seeing in the photo the redirection complement does the job, it fails to use page cache with memcached, I will have to use it only in Disk-enhanced.

    Or return to the previous version, before the problems with memcached began.
