it takes me to a different site…is there a url or something

you need log in in your host and click on phpmyadmin icon.

i dont have that i am using yahoo
i dont know why wordpress cant just rectify a simple error

how did you install wordpress manually or though yahoo

through yahoo…i will just delete and restart

there are other ways to reset but they all need you to log in using ftp or server
