404 on Listings

    We just noticed a fault with the listings 404ing on our site.

    When we click on a listing we notice this comes up in our error log:

    [10-Feb-2016 20:14:36 UTC] WordPress database error Unknown column ‘wp_geodir_gd_place_detail.geodir_region’ in ‘order clause’ for query SELECT wp_posts.*, wp_geodir_gd_place_detail.* FROM wp_posts INNER JOIN wp_geodir_gd_place_detail ON (wp_geodir_gd_place_detail.post_id = wp_posts.ID) WHERE 1=1 AND wp_posts.post_name = ‘arthurdale’ AND wp_posts.post_type = ‘gd_place’ ORDER BY wp_geodir_gd_place_detail.geodir_region asc, wp_geodir_gd_place_detail.is_featured asc, wp_posts.post_date desc, wp_posts.post_title made by require(‘wp-blog-header.php’), wp, WP->main, WP->query_posts, WP_Query->query, WP_Query->get_posts

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

    seems like a database corruption problem. Please try to go to GeoDirectory >> GD Tools and run the utility “Clear all GD Version number”, this will run the upgrade script again and should fix and table issues if any is found. Then try to load the listing again. If that doesn’t work, we’ll have to check directly. If thats the case please register in our forum https://wpgeodirectory.com/support it is free. We’ll need the URL, admin credentials and probably also access to phpmyadmin. In our forum you can share all this info with us privately.

    Tried the ‘Clear All GD Version #’ and did work
    will create support ticket.

    Hi,

    this has been fixed. You had a sorting option set for a field that had been deleted. In future version we will make sure to delete any sorting option created too if the original field is deleted.
