404 on Jetpack stats file

    Hi,

    One of my sites hosted on Linode, Mumbai throws a 404 error on this resource

    /wp-content/plugins/jetpack/https://stats.wp.com/s-202027.js

    The file https://stats.wp.com/s-202027.js is available and works okay when accessed directly from a browser.

    I have tried to disable stats, privacy policy -> analytics but nothing works. Found a similar issue here and wonder whether my problem is similar or something else.

    Can someone please help to resolve this?

  • I flushed the cache in Cloudflare, using the plugin and in the Cloudflare dashboard to make sure. There’s no other cache plugin on my site.

    I think this problem is local in my Chrome on my laptop. It worked in Edge and a Chromium version on my Raspberry Pi.

    Yeah, I’m definitely not seeing it on your site either, so something must still be cached in just that Chrome browser installation.
