• Hello,

I’m using WPML 3.7 for translations. After creating mutation from cs_CZ category to sk_SK language all categories in cs_CZ goes to 404 error page. I’m using plugin No Category Base (WPML) for removing “category” from URL, but it seems that this plugin brokes url rewrites. This plugin works well for several months, but after updating WPML it stops to work. Can you help me to solve this issue?

  • Facing the same issue here, with WordPress 4.7.5 and WPML 3.8.1. The category URL works again if I click “Update” on the “Edit Category” page (original language). It also seems to break again if I try to assign the category to a newly translated Post.

    To reproduce:
    – Create a category in original language.
    – Visit URL of category in original language. Looks OK.
    – Create a translation for category with WPML.
    – Visit URL of category in original language. Getting a 404 page.
    – Go to “Edit Category” page of original language and press “Update”.
    – Visit URL of category in original language again. Looks OK again!

Any help with this would be much appreciated!
