404 Notifier Plugin – Weird URLs

Hi,

I’ve been using the 404 notifier plugin by Alex King to determine which pages generate a 404 not found.

However, it has been generating some weird urls. I would like to know where it was indexed or followed from. The referrer information provided by the plugin is usually blank. And the UA of the accessing entity is usually Yahoo! Slurp.

Can anyone help me get more information on this issue?

Sample error urls reported by the plugin are:

https://ramblings.ajaxed.net/favicon.ico (The correct URL for my favicon is mentioned in all pages and that works)

https://ramblings.ajaxed.nethttps://ramblings.ajaxed.net/2008/07/19/brilliantly-dark-movie-review-the-dark-knight/#comment-13970
(There is an extra root path.. No idea how this URL is formed)
