404 not resolving when links end with .html

    I’ve got a 404 page for https://www.lodmell.com that works just fine when it is just a string of random characters, or if it ends in .php but not when the URL ends in .html

    Anyone know what might be causing this?

    Alright I answered my own question months later when ALL my 404’s started to fail. The W3 Total Cache plugin rewrote my .htaccess file to skip the 404 stuff. Hmm. Need to look deeper into W3 stuff and figure out why.
