So, I’m working on a website, and decided to change the permalink settings to automatically use “Post Name” instead of “plain”.

After doing that, every page I go to now, except for my homepage shows 404 Not Found errors on them. Why is that, and how do I change it?

The link to the website I have in progress is https://www.shocknstop.com

Click on any of the links or products on the website, and you will get a 404 error sadly.

Try resetting your custom permalinks back to the default setting and renaming your WordPress .htaccess file. If that works, then try reading Using_Permalinks before setting a custom permalink structure again. If clearing your Permalinks does not alleviate the issue, this could be attributed to anything from a web server configuration to a bad WordPress install.

My website is https://www.mignongould.com. When I was in the settings section of the dashboard, I made the mistake of trying to change my main URL from https://www.mignongould.com/media to mignongould.com. Now when I try to access my dashboard I get a 404-not found message. If I visit https://www.mignongould.com, I get a white page with some links. How do I undo what I did through my file manager, or is that even possible?

Any advice would be much appreciated.
