    Did you try with another theme such as Twenty Sixteen?

    I decided to make special category for all English posts and use special rules in the .htaccess:

    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^en\.soundaround\.me$ [NC]
RewriteRule ^$ /category/en/ [R=301,L]
