404 for JS & CSS Files

    When clicking on images, lightbox no longer working. I get the following 404 errors. I see the files, but it seems to be looking for a version 3.2.8

    Hi @roosites,

    From what you have reported, I see that the plugin fails from loading several “vital” resources for it’s functionality. In some of the cases this may happen because of either a failed update or wrong permissions on the server so I hope that you wouldn’t mind to manually reinstall NextGen Gallery plugin by deactivating removing and installing it new.

    No worries about your already existing galleries and settings – these wouldn’t be affected by the plugin re-installation process.

    Hello, I deleted the old plugin and manually installed but still seeing the same issues.

    Hi @roosites,

    Can you please try to temporarily switch to a different lightbox effect from “Gallery -> Other Options -> Lightbox Effects” like “Simple Lightbox” to see if that one will show up?

    When I go to Gallery ? Other Options I get a blank white screen. Same when I click on gallery settings

    I updated to the latest version, and still it doesn’t display.

    Please advise

    Hi @roosites,

    I am sorry to hear about this secondary problem. Can you please try to temporarily deactivate all the other plugins excepting NextGen Gallery, activate a theme from the
    “Twenty” series then try again to see if the options will be reachable?

    Let’s try to check the basics.
    Contact your hosting provider and check if your environment meets all our requirements
    https://www.imagely.com/docs/requirements/

    We noticed a 404 error, so let’s also check that your file permissions in WordPress are correct. Note: if you don’t know how to do that, you can ask your hosting provider.
    755 for all folders and sub-folders.
    644 for all files.
