    Hi.

After updating Fast Velocity Minify yesterday I’ve hit a wall with getting the plugin to work.

After the update you got a 404 error for alle pages if your not logged in.
Are you however loggedin then it works fine.

    Hi @ghostetr

    What is your site url?

The latest update, replicates the file permissions from wp-content/uploads directory into the wp-content/uploads/fvm directory.

When you say you get an error 404, do you mean an error 404 for all your content pages or only for the generated css and js files?

And if it’s all the content, is there a redirect somewhere in the middle?

I can only imagine that some merged file doesn’t exist, despite being enqueued and it’s causing that redirect.

    What is your site url?
Any 404 error on the google chrome dev tools?

Are FVM CSS and JS files being created on your wp-content/uploads/fvm subdirectories (use ftp or your control panel to take a look)?

Can you open them on the browser?

If you cannot open them on your browser, by calling the url… perhaps the file permissions are created wrong.

If you know what this means… perhaps try to chmod your uploads directory to 777, purge the cache and try again.

    hi @alignak.

    Sorry for the late reply.

Your right the cause of my error was a missing file. after creating that and omitting the 404 of the static file, the plugin works fine again.

    Thanks for your help!
