• Hello there,

Been appreciating the 404 Event Logs feature. I can have visibility on attempts of exploits from suspected (malicious) IPs. One thing I would like to request though.. Is it possible to do blocking via subnet (/24) instead of individual IPs?

    Thank you!

You can actually achieve what you are asking via a relatively easy manual step.
If you wanted to block ranges of IP addresses there’s nothing to stop you from entering something like the following in the blacklist feature:
    12.13.14.*

Does it mean in .htdocs, where the settings are placed, the IPs are written that way as well?

The blacklist feature writes directives to the .htaccess file.
You don’t need to directly edit that file. All you need to do is enter the blocks of addresses you want to block.

I am under Blacklist Manager and filling the following up like this?

Wonder if i can enter a format something like
    1.2.3.0/17
    3.4.5.0/24
    5.6.7.8/19 etc?

Just read the examples (sorry, forgot to expand it). Here are the valid entries i suppose:
    Example 1: 195.47.89.*
    Example 2: 195.47.*.*
    Example 3: 195.*.*.*
