• I was trying to find out how to change the page name, and I contacted my host, and they said to use the admin page on WordPress. I tried that, and now, not only am I getting 404 errors, but it won’t even let me access my admin page anymore..what did I do? How do I fix it? I’m about to freak, because my whole blog is down, and I hadn’t cached it since I moved to WP last week.

Okay thank you. I backed up the SQL. Now I’m trying to find the wp_options.

Okay. I fixed the problem..I changed everything back to where it was, and now I’m getting the following errors.

My website pulls up the following error: Error establishing a database connection

If I try to log into the admin I don’t even get the log-in screen anymore. I get this: Error establishing a database connection

This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at mysql.spitfiresworld.com. This could mean your host’s database server is down.

    * Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
    * Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
    * Are you sure that the database server is running?

If you’re unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.
