404 errors on Page after WP 4.4.2 update

  • I’m running WP 4.4.2 with BuddyApp Theme and BuddyPress with various plugins. I got some notices that WP 4.4.2 did not update automatically (as usual) and had do do a couple retries. Apparently it was successful. Shortly after I noticed that I’m getting 404 errors on any of the pages that I’ve developed. BuddyPress pages are working and Posts are working. But not pages.

    I deactivated all plugins by renaming plugin file. So now running just WP 4.4.2 and the BuddyApp theme. I Still i get 404 errors on all pages (except home page which displays text/short codes). I tried creating some new simple pages (without the plugins on) and am not able to either preview or publish the new page without getting 404 errors on the new page.

    Dead in the water at the moment. Any ideas?? Thanks

    I think I have cleaned up the problem. I was able to re-re-re-install 4.4.2 and now bringing up the plugins I seem to be getting pages. This may be fixed!
