    Hi,
I’m getting 404 error on many JS and CSS files into the litespeed folder:

    /wp-content/litespeed/cssjs/3baf2.css?9928c
    /wp-content/litespeed/cssjs/093d1.css?9a2c2
    /wp-content/litespeed/cssjs/77c0c.css?982cf
    /wp-content/litespeed/cssjs/67cc0.css?383ed
    /wp-content/litespeed/cssjs/3e663.css?6a918
    /wp-content/litespeed/cssjs/3e663.css?6a918
    /wp-content/litespeed/cssjs/e2c6c.css?1968e
    /wp-content/litespeed/cssjs/671de.css?5538c
    /wp-content/litespeed/cssjs/d2b8b.css?bec96
    /wp-content/litespeed/cssjs/0b721.css?82ebc

The Serve Stale is already turned off, how can I avoid that?

    Thanks.
    Angelo

but have you witnessed this 404 error with your actual browser ?

what I am trying to say is that , whenever cache plugin updates the link , it will always purge the cache and regenerate it with new link path

I’m not sure why you still ask me if I witnessed this 404 error, since I’m reporting this bug.

If you inspect the page, those old links are present and target to non-present files.

CSS and JS minifying options should be disabled in LiteSpeed due to this issue I’m reporting. I had to install another plugin to minify CSS and JS, as many other users do, because your minification dosn’t work properly…

    Hi,

thanks for the info , we will keep eye on this and think about how to further improve it

    Best regards,

    Hi,

So I had the same issue, after disabling optimisations for CSS/JS and purging cache with litespeed’s toolbox, the browser chrome/firefox returned a 404 error for the CSS/js files that were generated before by litespeed.

The issue for me was not in wordpress or litespeed cache, but the actual cache of the hosting server!

So please check in your host/server provider tools if there is an option to empty the server’s cache.

    Hope it helps.

    Cheers.

This issue goes away for me if I empty the LiteSpeed cache at cPanel level. So somehow the plugin is not doing it correctly from within WordPress (when clicking Purge All).

I only started experiencing this issue after updating to version 4.3.

    Hi,

there is a patch for combined files 404 error in v4.4-rc4 , please upgrade to it and see how it goes

you can get it in toolbox -> beta test -> click “dev” and upgrade

    Best regards,
