    Hi.

Please, try to refresh your permalinks. Go to Admin > Settings > Permalinks and hit Save button.

I have tried the above fix… still 404s for every portfolio item except for vimeo links where the video’s URL was pasted into the “Use URL” box. If it’s an image with a photo enabled with a ‘click-to-link’, the page doesn’t open, just 404.

The portfolio items with links directed to Soundcloud, youtube, and anything with a photo do not even open as a page on my site… just 404. Very strange.

Here is the HTML for the first portfolio item:

Why the links and order differ from your portfolio archive (https://wilmasisak.com/portfolio/)? What Content Source option do you use (https://wp.nkdev.info/free-visual-portfolio/documentation/portfolio-layouts/content-source/)? Or you changed links using some 3rd-party plugin?

    1. I used a different portfolio plugin before I began using Visual Portfolio. That /portfolio/ page was dead… I just moved all of that archive content to the trash and reset permalinks… now NONE of my portfolio links are working. Is Visual Portfolio looking for the /portfolio page instead of using Portfolio Content? I’m not sure I understand.

    2. I use “portfolio” content Source.
    3. did not change links with 3rd party.

so, I inserted [visual_portfolio id=”424″ class=””] on the portfolio menu page, and now the entire portfolio is 404ed. Clearly, I am missing something! ??

@nko I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.
