WP Table Reloaded has worked fine for us until today. I can still view our tables via the tools menu, but when I try todo anything from the Tools menu – edit, export, etc. – I get a 404 not found page (in the template that would normally appear to external viewers of the site). I’m very happy to upgrade to TablePress, but I think I need to get this working before I do!

I suspect it is somehow related to our recent upgrade to WordPress 3.5, as we had to do a couple of patches to get it to work (seemingly like quite a few other people).

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

I’m not sure what is happening here, but those screens are not necessary for the migration to TablePress. If you can see all of your tables on the “List of Tables” screen, that’s enough.

I suggest that you simply go ahead and do the migration. That’s going to be quicker and easier than trying to find out what’s wrong there. The fact that you even had to patch things to make WP 3.5 work, could indicate that this is maybe server related, so debugging this wouldn’t be easy anyway. The switch to TablePress is the best option for now, as you would have to it at one point or the other anyway.

    Regards,
    Tobias
