We recently migrated server to use NGINX and some users are seeing 404 errors when switching, is there anything we can look at to address this?

There’s nothing in User Switching that’s specific to a server configuration, this is likely a side effect of a caching misconfiguration or similar. I would start by restarting the PHP-FPM service and clearing the object cache.

    Good luck!

I can’t be of any help here I’m afraid, there’s nothing specific in User Switching that would cause a server-level 404 page to be displayed.

I recommend looking into security mechanisms that are in use on your server (including WordPress plugins and server-level configuration and extensions), and asking your web host for assistance.
