    Hi,

If you have a 404 / Not found error when you switch language, it means that your permalinks settings are not correct. You need to have clean URLs to use Weglot.
You can first desactivate Weglot, then check your Permalinks in WordPress to make sure you don’t have “simple” / “default” checked.
You can follow this guide to make clean URL on your website : Using Permalinks

  • Hi,

I do get the 404 error on my website even thought I am on date and title for the permalink structure.

Maybe it is because my website is on a MULTISITE WordPress?

EDIT: it was because I had a /en website before and I added english language with Weglot too. After deleting this /en website, it works.

I have de-activated Weglot, changed links structure to simple/default (first option) and activated the plugin, however I still get 404 error when I click on English.
