404 Error when posting a scheduled post to Facebook

  • I’m getting a 404 Error message (link not found) when I try to share a scheduled post to Facebook. This only happens when I’ve “scheduled” a post to post to be published rather than manually publishing it. I don’t have this problem when I manually publish a post. I can post the link to twitter, google plus, and so on just fine, but not facebook. Any ideas what’s going on. Thanks.

    – are you using any plugin for that ? Which one?
    – what theme are you using?

    I’m using the “Simple Share Buttons Adder” plugin and the Beautiful Pro theme. I tried deactivating that plugin and using the share buttons provided by Jetpack but that didn’t help. When I try to share it on Facebook, it comes up with an error message, but if I actually click on the link it will take me to the right post. I also copied and pasted the link to my post onto my Facebook page but it still came up with the error message.This only happens when I schedule a post to be published verses manually publishing a post.

    Also, my other sharing buttons work just fine — just not Facebook.
