404 Error on Theme Install Attempts

  • why oh why can’t I install a new theme. Old one eclipsed by WP updates & while I followed patch instructions I only managed to blow up my site. Now operating on Twenty Twelve temporarily, but want to get new theme and every “install” attempt gives me 404 error… what’s up with that?
