Hello there. I have used maximum compression on images and the error 404 appeared and it changed permissions on my Cpanel on uploads and images.
Also, I have uncompressed all images, changed permissions once again, and used the regenerate thumbnails plugin, however around 200 images are still showing error 404.

Any suggestions, please? I have turned off the option for image compression and the newly uploaded images are working properly.

  • @cristine-carter Sorry for the delay!

Could you send me a copy of your server’s PHP Error log?
You can find this log through your web hosting control panel (typically cPanel). If you are unsure where to find the PHP Error log, you can ask your hosts to provide it.

Sure, I have copied the entire file in a word document. How can I send you?

    Dear,

Thank you so much for your prompt reply. I have solved the issue. At the end it was not connected with the plugin, but the redirects in my Cpanel were enabled and I have moved from http to https.

Thank you for you time and support,
