404 Error on “site view” link

  • Hi, I had a problem with my blog because I changed the site URL in options. I have since fixed that problem. However, when I am in the control panel area and click any “view site” link, I get a 404 Not Found error. Every other link works. Does anyone know how I can make these links work again? The page loads find when you just type the address or click on the link I have on my web site.

    Nevermind everyone, I just figured out that the whole problem was the fact that the “BLOG URL” setting had a space at the end, and all I needed to do was delete that space. WordPress is so quirky and temperamental. The slightest little change can screw everything up, you get no warning before hand, it isn’t clear what changes do, and then the problems that are so easy to create are difficult to fix. I am not impressed with WordPress.
