404 error on ryte.com
-
Hello, we are using ShortPixel via Autoptimize and are getting a lot of 404 errors in Ryte (ryte.com). Failing URLs look like this:
They seem to come from ShortPixel and responsive images in WordPress:
<img width="80" height="80" src="https://cdn.shortpixel.ai/client/q_glossy,ret_img,w_80/https://my-website.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/6/my-image-80x80.jpg" class="attachment-thumbnail size-thumbnail wp-post-image" alt="" srcset="https://cdn.shortpixel.ai/client/q_glossy,ret_img,w_80/https://my-website.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/6/my-image-80x80.jpg 80w, https://cdn.shortpixel.ai/client/q_glossy,ret_img,w_36/https://my-website.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/6/my-image-36x36.jpg 36w, https://cdn.shortpixel.ai/client/q_glossy,ret_img,w_180/https://my-website.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/6/my-image-180x180.jpg 180w, https://cdn.shortpixel.ai/client/q_glossy,ret_img,w_120/https://my-website.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/6/my-image-120x120.jpg 120w, https://cdn.shortpixel.ai/client/q_glossy,ret_img,w_450/https://my-website.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/6/my-image-450x450.jpg 450w" sizes="(max-width: 80px) 100vw, 80px">
Seemingly Ryte picks up on the:
and sees this as a URL:
w_120/https://my-website.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/6/my-image-120×120.jpg
If you’re on the page https://my-website.com/news/post, the 404 then become:
Not sure if this is something one can change in the ShortPixel setup, or if it’s all down to Ryte misinterpreting the code – and they need to change something?
