404 Error on pressing Preview button In the Portfolio Section

Built a really simple website which was working fine until recently.

1. The first problem I noticed was that the Portfolio items channelled through a ‘Recent Works’ Fusion Builder function failed to display on the landing page. In addition to this, when I navigated to my portfolio page, the individual items also failed to display on that page. However the page structure remains intact, if I hover my mouse over the blank blocks, I can see the link arrow appear and if I click on the link, the portfolio item page loads and the I can see the item page fine. In other words, the image of the portfolio items fail to display on any other page it is summoned to, other than the item page itself. All the images are in the Media Library and working just fine.

2. Suspecting this may be something connected to the permalinks, I re-saved them to no avail. Changed them to no avail. When I click on the permalink on the portfolio item page is links properly to the page and displays the portfolio item page correctly, HOWEVER, very strangely if I hit the “PREVIEW” button on the portfolio item page, I get a 404 Error message that the page could not be found. This happens on all the portfolio items. I have tested the actual website pages (non-portfolio) and the preview button works fine there. It is only in the portfolio section that the PREVIEW button is unable to find and display the Portfolio item page.

3. Interestingly, Blog post entries (I currently only have 3) also fail to appear on the homepage blog Fusion Builder function display, but appear fine on the news (blogging) page.
