404 error on form submission

    Hello.

    We added our contact form inside a modal or popup box but we are having problem when submitting the form.

    Although the form data is submitted successfully as shown in the backend submissions, the submission leads to a 404 error page. I switched from ajax submission to page reload and the situation is the same. The page refreshes on both occasion and shows 404 error.

    The same contact form is also placed on the site footer and it does not behave like this, showing that the problem is likely connected to it being used in the modal box.

    It also looks like this happens only on the homepage.

    Is there a way of fixing this?

    How is the modal itself created/added – is it e.g. from Elementor or other page builder or is it from some other plugin (if yes, what plugin is it)?

    Would you mind sharing the link to the page in question so we could take a closer look at it, please?

    Thank you for your response. The site is built with the UIkit framwork and the form shortcode is placed inside the modal component – https://getuikit.com/docs/modal
