I have added a search filter to the events page and for some reason when you click on a date that doesn’t have any events in any window browsers it shows ‘page not found’ rather than taking you to the page saying ‘ no events found’ which it what it shows in Firefox on Mac.

This is quite an urgent issue I need fixing.

Hi, No mine hasn’t been resolved as of yet :/

Hi! We only scan this forum once every 10-14 days on average. If you need faster responses we can do that for you – but you would need to post on our pro forum (and so would need a license).

I have added a search filter to the events page

So is this a custom filter or are you referring to a component of The Events Calendar? Can you provide a URL for us to look at?

    Thanks!

Hello, That’s no problem at all.

Here is a link to the a page with the issue: https://creativeeastleigh.co.uk/new/events/upcoming/?action=tribe_list&tribe_paged=1&tribe-bar-date=2014-01

Now in Firefox on my Mac it shows a page within the site just mentioning there are no events, however If I view this page in IE on a windows computer it says ‘page not found’

Any ideas, why it works on some but not others, surely it should be showing the page provided when there are no events found?

It normally should. Some themes though may decide to display a custom template of their own when a 404 status is returned (which can happen if no events are found). Can you provide a specific, though? If I visit the URL you provided in your last post I simply see an empty page with an appropriate No upcoming events message (and it is a 200 OK status rather than a 404).
