404 error on event details

    Hi.

    I have The Event Calendar Version 3.8.1 (free edition) installed on WP 4.0 in uDesign theme.

    Calendar website/training-calendar/ works fine
    Calendar category website/training-calendar/category/category-name/ works fine
    Calendar Date website/training-calendar/2014-11-26/ (or any other) works fine
    BUT
    Calendar Event Details website/training-calendar/single-post-name/ gives me Page not found Error 404
    Calendar here
    I can’t make sense of this error. Any solution for this issue?

  • Hi There,

    I updated my theme to a new version and then got 404 errors on individual events. Did the permalink thing. No succes. I am not able to change the magic number as I am not allowed to do a POST action.

    How can I solve this? I need a resolution fast as the events are important to show up…

    I am sorry to hear you were having issues still with needing to change the magic number every time. I updated that snippet I linked to earlier. I think it might work for you now, and prevent you from having to do edits after every update.
