404 error on downloads

  • I have created two downloadable PDF’s that were working last month, the same ZIP file for both products https://bit.ly/39R9dFA and https://bit.ly/2POzr4J in two different locations. Last month they worked OK, I have checked in my filemanager, both zip files are in the correct locations, but getting a 404?

    Confused?

    Could you try navigating to Settings > Permalinks and saving changes, then check again to see if that helps?

    If the issue persists, could you please clarify how you’re adding the files? It looks like you’re adding the files directly via the media library and not through WooCommerce, is this correct?

    Hi,

    I have just saved the Permalinks again, then retried the download URL, the same location.

    I’m adding the Zip file from the Woocommerce individual product pages, using the ‘choose’ from the product data section, then selecting the Zip file from my media library?

    It was working last month?

    Thanks for your previous message, I have replied to your message, but have not got a reply?

    I am still at the stage where my downloads are not working, this is having an impact on my customers being able to download the newsletter.

    If you could help m rectify this, I would appreciate it.
