    I’ve used this plugin on multiple sites previously, but not come across this error before.

    After setting up a new web application and saving the changes, I get the ‘Grant Permission’ button as normal, but when I click through, I get a Google 404 error:

    Error: invalid_request

    Missing required parameter: client_id

    If I expand the Request Details I get:

    response_type=code
    redirect_uri=https://www.mydomain.co.uk/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=gmail-smtp-settings&
    action=oauth_grant
    scope=https://mail.google.com/
    access_type=offline
    approval_prompt=auto

    All details are entered correctly, I have created a new client ID and Client Secret 3 or 4 times, but continue to get the error.

    Anyone experienced this?

    Thanks in advance.

    Wayne

    I have tried TSL and SSL, although TSL should be correct as it is on my other client sites. Thanks.

    I have corrected the issue, we had a caching plugin installed and although disabled, it needed to be deleted to remove all references.
