404 error for woocommerce product images

Converted some site images from large pngs to smaller jpegs.
Had to replace the images on our site with new smaller jpegs.
WooCommerce product thumbnails on main homepage that have been changed from png >> jpeg are blank.
When clicking into the product with the blank image, the image shows fine on the individual product listing.
When running developer tools, 404’s are being thrown as the thumbnails are looking for filename.png still when the files are now filename.jpeg.

How can we force update WooCommerce or our theme to update the links it’s calling for from .png to .jpegs?
