    Hello,

I am helping someone with setting up their WordPress website. I recommended Yoast because I have a good experience with it. The thing is, since last update they started getting a weird error whenever they refresh the browser on their index page. Here it is: https://linkto.website/app/themes/yoast-theme/css/fontawesome.min.css?ver=1543592469.

    There are two other errors:
    https://linkto.website/app/themes/yoast-theme/images/logo.svg
    https://linkto.website/app/themes/yoast-theme/fonts/FontAwesome.wof2

Their IP address is shown with the 404 so we know it is related to them refreshing or logging out and in again.

Are these bugs related to Yoast, or could it be something else?

Thanks in advance for letting us know!

We apologize for the trouble you are experiencing with our plugin. Sometimes strange behavior may be caused by a plugin or theme conflict.

Please provide the answers to the following:

    1. Make sure the issue doesn’t persist when Yoast SEO is disabled.
    2. Have you performed a conflict check? If not, please do so. Did you discover a conflict?
    3. Does the issue occur when using a default theme with only Yoast SEO active?
    4. Does the issue occur with the current version of WordPress?
    5. Does the issue occur with the current version of Yoast SEO?
    6. Is the issue specific to a certain part of your site, like posts, products, categories, etc?
    7. Check for?JavaScript errors with your console.

If you find any JavaScript errors related to Yoast SEO or if there is a conflict with a plugin or a theme, you can create a?new GitHub issue?for our developers. Please report the issue to a third party developer as well.

If you didn’t find any conflicts or errors, we think the issue is specific to your site. We’d need to investigate further but are unable to do so on these forums. You can?purchase Yoast SEO Premium?and receive our premium email support so we can help you further.

I’m seeing 404 errors for the same URL too: /app/themes/yoast-theme/fonts/FontAwesome.woff2

Same here, reported in another tread. If you switch off ‘SEO analysis’ the 404 errors disappears, but somehow then the plugin is amputated.

Unfortunately we weren’t able to replicate this error. If you have already performed a conflict check and this issue is still occurring, we expect this to be a bug. We’re actively using the bug tracking on our GitHub repository so your best next step would be to create a new issue for our developers at https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/new. You will need an account to create a new issue. If this is your first bug report, please check out: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-to-write-a-good-bug-report/.

Don’t forget to include the URL to this conversation in your bug report.
