404 Error Fix?

    best approach i’ve seen (have not bothered with it myself) is to add a rewriterule to .htaccess (if on Apache) to turn the 404 into a 410 (gone). there’s a forum post here somewhere which even has the htaccess-code for that if i’m not mistaking .. ??
