    Hi,

I’ve used the plugin to regenerate thumbnails only after changing their sizes in Media settings, now they’re not displaying at all (other sizes are) and I get a 404 error in the console. Is there anything I can do to fix it? I’ve tried re-generating again, but it didn’t help.

    Thanks!

    Hi @elisagilis !

It’s hard to say what happened. Does anything about the URL of the missing file look strange? Have you tried loading that image in the browser and seeing if it shows up? Does it exist on the server?

Hope to hear back from you soon!

    Hi both,

We face the same issue and while investigating about it, I found out that some of the images have like 1 pixel difference after regeneration!

    • Before: […]-1024×803.png
    • Before: […]-1024×804.png

If option to delete obsolete images is activated, the previous one is obviously removed and ends up by a 404 if used in a post.
I just saw it few minutes ago so I need to look into it further, but I’m pretty confident that this is the same.

Question is why it would regenerate the same image but with a different size?

    Hi @kloh,

Thanks for reposting the issue. Is the problem with the 1-pixel difference in the regenerated images happening on your site every time you run the regeneration process?

At this point, I’d like to run some more tests with you on your site to try to figure out what’s happening. Please use the WordPress Site Health feature to send us some more information about your site?

**To do so, follow these steps:**

    – In your WP Admin dashboard menu, click **Tools**, then select **Site Health**.
    – Click *Info* at the top of the page.
    – Click the ‘Copy site info to clipboard’ button

After that send us a message (including the debug information and a link to this form post) via this contact form

    Thanks.
