I had a good working rtmedia plugin yesterday.I had to re-install buddypress after I messed something up.

After I reset my buddypress installation and created a clean installation, my rtmedia is no longer working.

Just like other users reported, I am getting a 404 error when visiting a profile media page or click on a media in the activity feed. Unfortunately there is no solution given in the support forum, so I will have to create a new ticket.

I can still upload media to the actvity feed, but no longer in my profile environment when visiting the media section. There is a 404 when I go there. Also I can not go to other profile’s media section. 404 error.

I already tried removing and re-installing the rtmedia plugin. That dit not work. Than I did a reset of my rtmedia plugin with a clean install, still the same issue. I am lost, please help.

It is somehow related to my theme, but it worked fine yesterday and I did not change my theme. The issue only started after I re-installed Buddypress. So it is something within my theme it appears. Is that something you can help? Default theme doesnt have the issue when I try that.

Please help!! This is breaking my site !!

    Hi,
Thanks for reaching out to us.

Please provide some more information about your current site structure.
    1. Which theme you are using and its version.
    2. rtMedia and BuddyPress version you are using on site.

Please let me know if you have any other queries apart from this, in which we can help.

    Regards,

    Hi,

Just a quick update to my last reply.

Since you have re-installed the BuddyPress plugin, please try to save the permalink structure, it might solve the issue.
    Please refer to this –?https://rtmedia.io/docs/troubleshooting/solve-404-page-not-found-error-media-tab-buddypress/

    Thanks,

it appeared to be a theme bug which has since been fixed – closing ticket.
