• I was checking my optin form to make sure it worked along with the confirmation email. But I didn’t even get that far because after I filled in the optin form on my website, it said 404 Page Not Found… I double-checked the info I brought over from Mailchimp and it’s correct. Please lmk how to fix this! Thanks!

    Hi,

Can you send over the URL to the website ( or to the page where the form is located ) and I’ll check it out.

Hi. The site is launching this weekend. The form is programmed after posts. So here’s a link to one: https://zandraszone.com/hello-world/
    Thanks!

    Hello Zandra,
I just saw this topic, and had a similar if not identical issue to you 5 minutes ago. You might have done this already, but rechecking the form action url from MailChimp resolved this problem for me.
    Hope it works out~

    Hi,

The form is missing the URL it’s supposed to forward the details. Can you check the plugin settings and make sure you have Mailchimp selected as the provider and the form action URL field is supplied.

Double checked URL and yes Mailchimp is selected.

    Hi,

Add https:// at the start of the URL

So it should be like https://luxurylifestyle.us15.list-manage.com…

    Done that, same issue continues

Hi Doug. Just tested and it’s not going to a 404 page, goes to the Mailchimp page. But you’ll need to change settings on Mailchimp a bit since the plugin does not have a last name field and you have it marked as required in the Mailchimp settings.

    1. Head over to mailchimp.com and log in to your account.
    2. Go to Lists.
    3. Click the “downward angle icon” ( at the very right of the list item ) for more options and click on “Settings”.
    4. Click “List fields and *|MERGE|* tags”

The settings should be like in the screenshot below:

    Click for full resolution

Hi, I am also having the same problem except instead of saying 404. It says The page you are looking for is not find. Can someone help me with this please? Thanks

Can you send over the URL to your website.

But please open a new support ticket, the tickets here are ordered by the date of creation, not date of last reply so I almost missed your comment.
