    This sounds like a permalinks issue. Can you try changing your permalinks setting back to the default, and then change them back to your desired setting and see if the problem goes away? I’ve seen 404 behaviors when the plugin is first added to a site and toggling the permalinks back to default temorarily usually clears up the problem but that doesn’t sound like the problem you ran into.
