404 and Other Errors
-
I wanted to use this plugin to sort my portfolio pieces and assign them to a drop-down menu according to what type of video it is – documentary, commercial, film, etc. Those categories would each be a submenu item under “All Projects” in the Main Menu. This would allow the client to look at my videos of a specific type easily from the menu.
Menu structureI installed your plugin and assigned each of my videos one or more category. I included those categories as submenu items in my main menu. The menu drop down worked but when I clicked on “Documentaries” or “Films” <del>I got the 404 Page Not Found error.</del> New development! When I deactivated and activated your plugin I no longer get the 404 Error. Now the page has the portfolio items and links listed out sloppily much like the next issue I have…
What it looks like when you click a submenu item (or category)Furthermore, each individual portfolio item’s page is screwed up. The Home Page is fine, and the “All Projects” page is fine. But when I click on an individual item, no video shows and there’s just a bunch of jumbled up menus.
What it’s supposed to look like
What it looks like when plugin is activeI’ve left my page with your plugin active so that you can view the problems. The only thing I really care about is my Home Page and your plugin does not affect that. Your plugin seems to be the only solution for how I want to categorize my portfolio items and I would really like to use it. Thanks for your help.
