On one of the accounts I manage, yoast is throwing or recording multiple 404 and 500 errors. I can find 404 saved in the yoast table set not the 500.

It is very aggravating to be working from the admin panel and get a 404 or 500 when the return should be back to the admin panel.

    Any help is appreciated

Please elaborate on the issue you’re experiencing including as much detail as possible such as a link to the site in question, the expected outcome, any error messages you received, steps to recreate the issue, and, if possible, screenshots.

The errors are coming from work done from the dashboard. This site recently had an SSL installed so the https applies to all uri done from the dashboard. About every 3rd command from the dashboard results in a 404 error and about every 7 or 8th command a 500 server config error.

I do not think Yoast is necessarily causing them but it appears that some of the 404 were picked up as an SEO item and stored in the Yoast tables. At least I can find some references to 404 in the tables with a phpmyadmin table search.

There are a lot of settings on Yoast and I am inheriting this site so did not set anything up.

I do have a ticket in with the host to check server configurations on these issues. So let’s give them time to work and if necessary revisit this then. I have deactivated Yoast to see if it helps this issue. Give me a couple of days and I will post an update.
