  • Hola @albertoaranda !

It doesn’t look like there are any events on the site currently? Once an event is added you may need to go to Settings > Permalinks (Ajustes > Enlances permanentes) to “reset” the links on the site, and possibly choose something other than Simple format.

    Cheers!

P.S. My wife and I loved our visit to Cordoba and might be returning next year, so will keep an eye on the site for event ideas ??

    Hello!

    Thanks for your answer.

We are glad that you liked Córdoba. It is a wonderful place. If you decide to come back, my wife and I can accompany you and show you around the city.

    If I have published events.

1.- The events receive 404 when clicking on the link. Already regenerate permalinks.
2.- Events are not shown on home plate.

I’m running into some trouble getting started with the project.

    All the best.

Hi @albertoaranda, sorry to hear about this. Let’s see. I’m curious, could you interchange the settings under Display → Default stylesheet used for events templates and Events template? See if that makes a difference and make sure that any template is not causing the issue.

Also, we’re working on a fix as this is also a known issue. We already created an internal bug ticket for this, and I have added your case to it. Thanks for all the details, I will definitely pass it along to our devs.

I am unable to provide an exact date or time estimate for when this bug will be fixed, but you’ll be notified when there are any updates.

If you do have other concerns or issues you need help with, please create another ticket, as it helps us track different issues.

Again, thank you for your patience. Hang in there.

    Best,
    Abz

    Hi @albertoaranda,

We wanted to let you know that with our latest release of?The Events Calendar version 6.0.2, we resolved the issue of 404s on new events that you were experiencing. Be sure to review our full?Release Notes?for more details.

Please note that in order for this fix to work, you may need to edit the events that were having problems by simply opening and resaving them. This will trigger the missing data to be created on the new tables, thus fixing the 404 on the frontend.

As always, we suggest?testing updates on a staging site?first, and having a recent backup, but it should all be smooth sailing. If you implemented any workarounds, you may remove them after updating.

If you still have issues after updating to the latest release, please let us know.

Have a great rest of your day!

    Thanks,
    Erica

I’m still having the issue after updating to 6.0.4. I opened up two different recurring events and resaved but still get the 404 error when I click on a recurring event.

Hi @lcbaron1, I’m curious could you try clearing any caching for both third-party plugins and server-side (if you have any). It would also be good to flush permalinks.

Let me know if that does the trick for you.

    Best,
    Abz

When I went back to it after reading your post, the issue was gone even though I didn’t make any changes at that point. Thank you.

Hi @lcbaron1, thanks for the updates here. Perhaps it was intermittent. It would be good if you could clear the browser cache as well.

No worries. I’d be closing this thread, and please do not hesitate to bump a new thread on our way. This is for us to track down topics/issues efficiently and for us to follow the WordPress Forum Guidelines.
