403 post.php error

When you click ‘update’ in the post editing screen, it returns a 403 error. This issue was resolved when I disabled the OSM plugin.
It seems that others are having the same issue but the dev has gone AWOL: https://wp-osm-plugin.hanblog.net/forums/topic/403-forbidden/
Has anyone succeded in solving this problem?
