• I can’t log into my wordpress admin. I keep getting this error:

    403 Permission Denied
You do not have permission for this request /bridgenews/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.bridgeincorona.org%2Fbridgenews%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1

My blog is working but I can’t log in.

    Do you have any suggestions?

    Thanks

    Mark Jackson

  • Try:
    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.

I renamed the theme’s fold and also reset the plugin folder and neither of those things worked.

How would I re-upload all the files and folders from a fresh download of WordPress?

Would I download it onto my computer and then upload it all (except the wp-content folder) via FTP back up top my server?

If so, where would I get the newest version of WordPress?

    Thanks

Ok, I downloaded the newest version of WordPress and uploaded all the files back onto my server except for wp-content and I still get the same error message.
