403 forbidden when trying to sort a gallery

    But not ALL of them. I’ve checked folder permissions and they’re all on 755/644.

    All plugins/wordpress core up to date.

    Hi @roelani

    Are there any similarities amongst the galleries that can or can’t be sorted; such as the number of the images they contain?

    After the recent update of nexgen I can upload images, but can’t sort or add/modify descriptions and labels.

    All permissions are 755 and this is a new issue.

    Any resolution out there?

    Hi @wrw51,

    We are sorry for a very late reply.

    NextGen’s sorting relies on it being set as “Custom” from “NextGen Gallery -> Other Options -> Image Options -> What’s the default sorting method?” and it will not display within Manage Galleries or Insert Gallery Window in case of setting it differently.

    Mihai… I finally found your response.

    Nope, the changes suggested do not resolve the issue. No matter how I change and SAVE the Image Options, when I try to modify the image information, I get the #403 Forbidden message, though I am able to upload new images to the appropriate gallery.

    Help if you can, please.
