I need help in finding every possible configuration it has changed on our site. It locked out everything even my own IP address.

I deleted the plugin folder first, deleted the .htaccess file then re uploaded a fresh download of the plugin, then added ‘forceOff’ file (0 bytes) but it still didn’t work.

Is it possible to get more help for this? Are there other HTAccess files that I need to delete?

this plugin doesn’t touch your .htaccess file. You must have something else causing this. It also never generates a 403 forbidden. Try disabling other plugins.

I’ve tried disabling all plugins on the website using this method describe here:

    https://perishablepress.com/quickly-disable-or-enable-all-wordpress-plugins-via-the-database/

It removed all styling and the website, so the disabling works, but I still can’t access wp-admin :/ It’s probably not the plugin, I only suspected it was because I installed the plugin the night before the 403 happened. If there are any other resources that would help me unblock the 403 of the wp-admin folder that would be great.

have a look in your error_log files, and completely delete your .htaccess
