    Hi,
Just looking for some advice please. I’ve just launched my site and currently submitting sitemaps. Done Google but when I try to verify bing (using Yoast) I’m getting the mentioned error. Wordfence is blocking it but I’m just unsure as to whether I should go ahead and manually allow it.

    403 Forbidden
A potentially unsafe operation has been detected in your request to this site, and has been blocked by Wordfence.
If you are an administrator and you are certain this is a false positive, you can automatically whitelist this request and repeat the same action.

    Hi @natm

This is likely due to the firewall seeing legitimate Yoast requests as being potentially malicious and blocking them. You can either add these requests to the allowlist via the Learning Mode feature or from the Tools >> Live Traffic tool page. Both allowlisting methods are described in our instructions in the link below:

    https://www.wordfence.com/help/firewall/learning-mode/

Please let me know how it proceeds.

Hi. Thanks for getting back to me. I tried verifying my site with Pinterest and had the same issue. When I got the error message I added it to the allowlist and it went through ok. I have been holding off on the Bing one but I think I should be ok just to get that done. As I’m not really comfortable with playing around with the Wordfence settings, I would prefer to leave them as is. I’m not even sure where I would add it in the ‘live traffic’ bit. ?? I’m hoping that these will be the only occasions where I have to do this.

    Hi @natm

If the firewall blocks a Yoast request (that you initiated) as being potentially malicious and block it then it is safe for you to add that request to the allowlist as you initiated the request.
