403 Forbidden

  • Hi,

    I just installed WordPress 2.5.1 to my localhost directory. I got everything set up correctly, the installation run smoothly. But when I go into the wp-login.php, I’m getting “403 Forbidden” error message, it is saying that I don’t have permission to the directory. Please help. I saw on the FAQs page about going to web option, but I can’t find this web option anywhere.

  • I am getting the same error when trying to post. Please help if anyone has managed to resolve.

    Here is the error message, if it helps:

    Forbidden
    You don’t have permission to access /test/wp-admin/post.php on this server.

    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
