    Hi Support,

    Duplicator Lite v1.5.11.2
    WordPress v6.7.1
    PHP v8.2.26
    Server: LiteSpeed

    I make a backup. Everything is fine. I want to download the archive file. I click the button but nothing happens. If I click the link to download the backup archive.zip, a new window (LiteSpeed) opens with the error: 403 Forbidden – Access to this resource on the server is denied!

    I connect via FTP, the permissions (attributes) for archive.zip are set to: 600
    After I change the attributes to 644 I can download through the dashboard without any problems.

    My Log file is clean. There are no errors.

    The support response is always generic. The error is always tried to be transferred to the user or to the server. Why? Why is it difficult to admit the possibility that there is a software error? And this is an error that has been occurring for at least 6 months (according to error reports by users here on the forum).

    On my website, all .zip files have attributes properly set (as should be) to 644. I only encounter a problem with the Duplicator plugin. It’s always 600. Of course, downloading the backup file is not possible.

    Update. I uploaded the zip file to /wp-content/backups-dup-lite/ via FTP. Flawless. The file automatically got attribute 644. That’s how it should be. Which can only mean that the error is not on the server.
