403 Errors in Digital Downloads with Woocommerce

    Hi,
    I have Woocommerce installed on my wordpress site. I recently had a client purchase a downloadable pdf file and when he tried to click on the link to the downloaded file in his email he received a 403 error message. After looking around on the internet to I see this is related to a security issue but I have no idea how to fix this problem. I am not very technical when it comes to coding and editing files.

    Can anyone shed some light in laymans terms?
